A Little Bit About Us

What To Expect

At Thompson Station Church, our mission is to help all people connect with Jesus, find community, discover their calling, and make a difference. Our values aren’t just what we do—but it is who we are.

  • What time should I show up?

We gather every Sunday at 8:15am, 9:45am, and 11:15am. We'd recommend showing up for service 15 minutes before the service you are planning to attend! This will give you plenty of time to park in our First Time Guest parking, visit the information tent, check in your kids if need be, and grab a seat in the worship center.

  • Where do I park?

First-time guests get special parking, and there’s a team of smiling faces waiting to help you find your spot! When you pull in, just turn on your hazards and they’ll guide the way!

  • Where do I go?

When you arrive, be sure to stop by our information tents near our main entrances. We would love to meet you, give you a gift, show you around the campus, and answer any questions you might have.

Our main worship center and high school Life Groups are located in building "B".

Birth through 8th grade is located in building "C".

  • Where do my kids go?

For every stage of your child’s life, Thompson Station Church has created an encouraging space for them to learn, grow, and connect with God at their own level. We offer Sunday morning programming for birth through 12th grade.

All children ages fifth grade and younger check-in with a secure sticker system; the check-in process is quick and easy, and you’re given a secure code which allows for a secure pick up. Once you’ve checked your child in, you can head into worship and we’ll take it from there!

If you have a middle or high schooler we have programming for them as well! During our 9:30 service time, our students meet with their grade/gender specific life groups to dive into scripture together.

All of our students are encouraged to Worship in the main service at the 11:00 hour in our student section (far right of the worship center) or with their families.

We also have programing on Wednesday nights for kids and students. You can click the buttons below to learn more about TSC Kids and TSC YTH!

  • What should I wear?

We want you to come as you are! We are an informal and friendly church. You will see some dressed up and some dressed casually. We want you to come however you feel most comfortable.

  • What is a Sunday like and what will I hear?

Every Sunday, no matter where in the Bible we are teaching from, you will hear about Jesus.

Our Sunday services offer powerful worship and Biblical teaching that is relevant to everyday life. A service will last about 60 minutes and all of our kids' programming is timed the same way so that as soon as you step out of service, you are able to pick up your kids.

  • Can I come if...?

Whatever you fill in the back half of that sentence with, the answer is still yes. We’re a community of people from every background you can imagine, and it doesn’t matter where you’re from, what you’ve done, or what you’ve been through. You are welcome here!

  • Your Next Step

We want you to come and see, but we don’t want you to stop there. The best place to start at Thompson Station Church is Starting Point – a class that will help you learn about who we are and how you can get involved. You will learn about the mission and beliefs of Thompson Station Church and how you can partner with us to connect people with Jesus.

Our Values

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Our Message

The purpose of TSC is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. We are Jesus people, not religious people. Methods will come and go, yet our message will remain the same.

People Are Our Heart

Our heart is for ALL people. All people are loved by Jesus. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far away from God. We desire to bring the broken home at all costs. We believe that our light is best seen in the night.

Generosity is Our Privilege

Generosity is about giving more than what is required. We see generosity as a privilege. We’re generous with our time, talents and treasure. We go first in our giving. God has given richly towards us, it’s our honor to give back to Him.

Excellence is Our Spirit

We are going to always do the best with what we have. We’re on time, engaged and prepared. We don’t do things halfway. If we’re going to do it, it’s going to be to the best of our ability.

Servant Leadership Is Our Identity

If you’re too big to serve then you are too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every leader is a servant first. From the parking lot to the pulpit, everyone serves. Every role is different but they are all important. If you ain’t helping, you ain’t helping!

Honor Is our Calling

We are vocal with our honor, meaning we are not stingy with our words. We submit to leadership and are thankful for spiritual authority. We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us. We honor and care for those God has placed under us.

Passion Is Our Pursuit

Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service we do it with Holy Spirit Energy. Passion drives us. Passion for Jesus. Passion for people. Passion for His church.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • The Trinity

God is the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; One in Essence and Three in Persons. We recognize and worship Him as one God.

  • Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He died, arose after three days in the tomb, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf.

  • Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead who teaches and comforts the believer. We believe in His work, power, fruit, and gifts. It’s the power of God’s Holy Spirit that helps us do the right things. We are not strong enough to live the Christian life on our own.

  • God’s Word

The Bible is the perfect and divinely inspired Word of God. The sixty-six canonical books of the Bible, as originally written, provide the only foundation of Christian faith and practice, government, and discipline.

  • Salvation

We are saved by grace, through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who forever paid the price for our sin. That faith is evident in our lives through right thinking and actions.

  • Christ’s Return

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is coming back visibly to the earth, to judge the living and the dead. The wicked will receive eternal punishment, as the reward of their evil deeds. Christ will reward those who trust and serve Him, and we will rule and reign with Him for eternity.

  • Generosity

Generosity is an evidence of our gratitude and obedience to God's plan for our lives. We are all called to be faithful in biblical generosity and tithing. God really wants our hearts, and Jesus taught that our hearts are always where our treasure is. (Matthew 6:21) Tithing (10%) is a biblical principle for generosity. It is a great place to begin to trust God for His provision. (Matthew 23:23) We want to encourage you to start where you are and grow into a life of generosity as the Lord provides. Giving goes beyond the tithe to sharing from the blessing God has given me, through missions or special projects to help support the work of Thompson Station Church.
