Before VBS
Key Leader Check List
- Commit to pray each day for our VBS at TSC.
- Fill out the Key Leader registration at the QR code above.
- Recruit and confirm volunteers for your Key area. Have them fill out the registration.
- Plan your lesson/game/craft/snack/etc.
- Plan a time to communicate with your team on what they will do each day.
- Remember not everyone has done VBS before, so please give thorough details to new volunteers.
- Shop/gather all material and decor for your area.
- If you prefer to shop yourself, please plan a time to borrow a church credit card and tax exempt forms.
- If you prefer for us to shop, all shopping lists must be received by May 25th. Shopping lists should include where to buy it from and the quantity. An Amazon shopping list can be forwarded to Terri at tstahly@tsclife.org.
- Please do not purchase things with your own card or without tax exempt. We would like to avoid doing any reimbursements.
- Be sure to be aware of your budget.
- Plan a time to decorate and prepare with your team on July 5th. The church will be open from 12:30-6pm. Lunch will be provided. Please let us know how many from your team will be here to eat and if childcare will be needed.
- Make sure all your children are registered for VBS starting on April 1st.
- Key Leader teams should park in the gravel lot to the east of the C building.
- Arrive in time each day to drop off your children and be in assigned room ready to go, 15 minutes before you are to receive children.
